Az egyik a finn postáról szól: Rendeltem ebay-rol, Angliából gitár húrokat, ahogy mindig. De valahogy lehagytam szállítási címnél az utcanév mellol a házszámot… my bad… Bementem Postára, hogy lebeszéljem Őket arról, hogy visszaküldjék a feladónak….
Mikor mondom nonek, mi a bajom, azt válaszolta, hogy dehogy küldik vissza, Ők ilyet itt nem csinálnak. Menjek csak szépen haza, várjam a csomagot, meg fognak találni, ha kell minden házba bekopognak az utcában, de megkapom a csomagot. Hát wow. Kicsit még szkeptikus vagyok, ha megjön a csomag, majd megnyugszom. :) * Megjött a csomag, megnyugodtam!!

A másik pedig az adóhatósággal kapcsolatos: Múlt héten Katerinával prezentációt tartottunk egy Cultural Evening-en egy csomó tanárnak. Lényeg, hogy kaptunk érte pénzt (30 EUR – 20 perc eloadás, 10 perc a kérdésekre, aztán ingyenkaja, ingyenkávé, ingyenminden. még a csinos pincérnovel is összebarátkoztam, aki a rendezvény végén nekem adta a megmaradt kaját, ami két megbontatlan doboz ilyen-rakott-krumlis-lasagna-cuccot jelent). De nem ez a story. A bevételbol természetesen itt is adózni kell, elmentem hát az adóhivatalba. Már elore rettegtem, mert otthon legutóbb egy teljes napot elvesztegettem az APEHban… Szóval bemegyek, és lehidalok. on vagyok az egyetlen ügyfél az épületben. Három ablak van, de mivel nincs más rajtam kívül, mind a három néni az én ügyemmel foglalkozott, hogy minél hamarabb meg legyen az adókártyám.
Mindenki más Interneten intéz mindent. Nekem is csak azért kellett bemenni, mert külföldi vagyok…

UPDATE:

Van még egy sztorim. :) Utaztam buszon. A történethez hozzátartozik, hogy speciális diákigazolványunk van, mert csak fél évig vagyunk itt. Namost a buszsofor azt mondta, hogy érvénytelen. Gondoltam biztos Neki van igaza, miért verne át. Kifizettem hát a 70 km-es útra a 14,6 EUR-t… :S Aztán egy kedves finn hölgy felvilágosította, hogy téved. Beszélgettek, egy darabig finnül, aztán félúton a söfor visszakérte jegyemet, elnézést kért, adott egy fél árút, és visszaadta a pénzem… Egy szót sem tudtam reagálni. :)

It was high time they realized the power of the media! I do hope, that this was not a one time thing!! Because this way, they can convince the people of ‘going green’!

As part of their “Green is Universal” campaign, NBC went green the other night, with a slate of environmentally themed programming the “Deal or No Deal”, “ER”, “Las Vegas”, “The Office.” Perhaps the most entertaining, show-gone-green was “30 Rock,” which featured guest appearances from Al Gore, David Schwimmer, and Meredith Vieira. Gore and Schwimmer were part of a segment meant to mock NBC executives for the “Green is Universal” campaign, with Liz Lemon (played by Tina Fey) and Jack Donaghy (played by Alec Baldwin) suggesting that Gore “throw on green tights and a cape and tell the kids how big business is good for the environment.” Instead, Gore tells them,

If your network really wants to demonstrate a commitment to the environment, why don’t you start by, for example, having an entire week with nothing but environmental themes on all the programs? Use entertainment for substance! You could have a character in primetime making a passionate argument to the American people that we need CO2 taxes to replace the payroll taxes. Your parent company could lobby congress and the president to pass the treaty and save the climate.

Jack’s typical studio response? “Or, you could put on a silly hat and tell the kids how outsourcing means cheaper toys at Christmas.”

If any one show presents a challenge to being eco-friendly, it’s “Las Vegas.” “We actually say this on the episode, ‘Las Vegas is not green, and if it were, it would not be Las Vegas,’” says Gary Scott Thompson, creator and executive producer.

In last Friday’s episode, the Montecito hosts a convention for environmentalists, and Delinda (Molly Sims) wants the hotel to be more eco-friendly.
